Google sites is a free website builder offered by google that you can create websites with collaborators by giving another Google user edit access. Google Sites are compatible with other Google services like Docs, Sheets, and Slides. It allows anyone to build and launch a stunning website only in just a few drags and clicks.

While Google Sites may not be as advanced as other website builders, such as Wix or WordPress. There are several benefits to using the service if you want to create a simple and functional site. Google Sites has been available since 2008, and there have been significant updates along the way.
For starters, it’s free. There is no limit on the number of sites you can build within the 15 GB storage limit of your Google Sites account.
You can create an internal hub, a public-facing website, team sites, and more without the need for a programmer, designer, or IT assistance. All you need, is around 10 minutes, and a Google account to easily build a site with Google Sites.
Google Sites are integrated with other Google tools like Docs, Youtube, map, sheets, slide and forms. You can drop in projects from your Google Drive into the website you creating just like those services, Google Sites can be built, shared and copied between editors to meet a team working. People also can customize the look and feel of the website with editing elements, and every element is intuitive and using friendly.

If you delete your site by mistake, you can simply go into your Google Drive trash, restore it and get it back. But Google Drive automatically empties anything that’s been in the trash for longer than 30 days.
In conclusion, Google Sites isn’t as comprehensive as other website builder. But Google Sites would be a good choice for a free service for a work, small business or events.
